Terms of Use
Last updated October 8, 2026
These terms apply to the MaxLog app and this website (together, the “Service”), published by MaxLog (“we”, “us”). By using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Health and safety
MaxLog is a training log and planning tool. It is not medical advice and does not replace a doctor, physiotherapist or qualified coach. Suggested weights, reps, rest times and calorie estimates are general guidance only.
Talk to a healthcare professional before starting or changing an exercise program, especially if you have a medical condition, injury or are pregnant. Use proper form, warm up, use a spotter or safety equipment where appropriate, and stop if you feel pain, dizziness or shortness of breath. You exercise at your own risk.
2. Your account
You can use the App without an account. If you create one, keep your password secure and tell us if you think your account has been accessed without permission. You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age in your country, to use the Service.
3. MaxLog Pro
- Pro is offered as an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or yearly) and may also be offered as a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the App before you buy.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel a subscription in your iPhone Settings under your name → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals; Pro stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
- If a free trial is offered, any unused part of it ends when you buy a subscription.
- Purchases are processed by Apple, and refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.
- We may change Pro features or prices. Price changes apply from your next renewal, and Apple will notify you when required.
4. Your content
Your workouts, notes and photos belong to you. You give us permission to store and process them only as needed to provide the Service, for example backing up workouts if you turn on sync. See the Privacy Policy for details.
5. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the Service, including by attempting to access other users’ data, interfering with the Service, reverse engineering it except where the law allows, or using it for anything unlawful.
6. Our rights
The Service, including its design, text, graphics and software, belongs to us or our licensors. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which also applies to your use of the App.
7. Third-party services
Some features rely on services we do not control, such as Apple Health, the App Store, Supabase and RevenueCat. Your use of those services is also governed by their terms.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent allowed by law, we make no warranties, express or implied, including that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that calculations and suggestions will be accurate for you.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any injury arising from exercise, and our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
10. Ending your use
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive, such as disclaimers and limits of liability, continue to apply.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If changes are significant, we will let you know in the App or on this page. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept them.
